"I recently had Patrick do a Deluxe set-up on my Tele and have to say it was the best set-up I've had in a long time. When I brought the guitar in, it was in sad shape. The neck was warped, the frets were like disintegrating speed bumps, and the nut had seen better days. Patrick took the little guy in, and a day and a half later it was back in my happy hands. Now it just about plays itself.
While I was at his shop I spied a nice little Harmony parlor guitar from the 1930's, on which Patrick had recently done a neck re-set, replaced the missing bridge, and treated with his Deluxe set-up. I ended up purchasing it for a reasonable price, and now it is my main acoustic. Absolutely no fret buzz...on an 80 year old instrument... nice!
I will definitely go back to Patrick for all my set-ups from now on. And in the mean time I enjoy checking out the re-furbished guitars he has for sale."

"When it comes to guitar setups and guitar work, Patrick is one of the best people in the business. Patrick is attentive and listens closely to what you have to say and how you play. Whether you're Allan Holdsworth or Neil Young, no two guitars or guitar players are alike. Patrick realizes this and takes the time to talk to you about your preferences, giving you results specifically tailored to suit your playing style and personality.
Last year I took one of my guitars to a famous Manhattan guitar shop for a routine setup. I was over charged and the work was very poorly done. I came away from the experience extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, and was close to selling my guitar from sheer exasperation.
Patrick was able to take an instrument I owned and made it truly mine. A guitar that frustrated me before now inspires me and I wouldn't dream of ever parting with it.
I have learned the difference between merely owning a guitar and making it your own. Patrick will make your guitar your own. You'll see and feel the difference, and most of all, it will show in the music you create."

Patrick is a BADA**! I brought him an old Strat that needed a refret, a new nut and a good setup. The neck on the guitar ended up being a bear to work on (some warpage, truss issues, etc.) and he STILL made it perfect! The frets are perfect, the custom nut is perfect and it's the best setup I've had done in NYC, and I've had work done at a lot of the 'big' spots (Carmine, 30th St, etc.).
I have 15 guitars and I can't wait to bring a few of them to Patrick for some more work! He's super friendly, does great work and his rates are extremely competitive. What more do you need in a guitar tech? Call him!

"Had re-fretting done on both of my acoustics, one after the other. Excellent job and didn't cost me the earth. Quality work done by a gentleman. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any musician i (sic) know."

"Patrick is the real deal. His priority is working with the player to achieve the right set-up for his or her style. His repair chops are totally pro and he's friendly and easy to work with. He's obviously in it for all the right reasons and takes time to make sure the job is done right. I highly recommend him."

"I had Patrick work on a neglected 1972 Yamaha Acoustic that I picked up cheap on craigslist. I paid for a standard set up and he transformed the guitar. The difference in playability is striking. This guy knows what he's doing and he's super nice, I would definitely recommend him."
