Seam Repair - Cello

The top to side seams on both sides of the tailblock had separated . The owner, a fine cellist, needed it for a recording session the next day. After rehearsing the clamping setup, thin, fresh hot hide glued was worked into the seam. Spool clamps were quickly applied. The next morning the clamps were removed and warm water was used to clean up the remaining squeeze out. The cello was back in its owners hand with few hours to spare.
